公共圖書館的服務真是越來越好，繼免費App HyRead3外，今天要給大家介紹的是 BookFlix 電子書。

甚麼是BookFlix：

BookFlix是專為學齡前和初小兒童設置的網上閱讀平台。提供以動畫形式製作的經典故事書和非小說類電子書，激發孩子們閱讀和學習的興趣。以Watch --> Read --> Explore的學習形式來激發小朋友閱讀的興趣。 (a fictional video storybook paired with a nonfiction digital flip book)

BookFlix 涵蓋9個主題：

- 動物及大自然 Animals and nature
- 地球及天空 Earth and sky
- 人與地方 People and places
- ABC 及 123
- 家庭及社區 Family and community
- 音樂及童謠 Music and rhyme
- 冒險 Adventure
- 慶祝 Celebration
- 想像 Imagination

BookFlix範例：

以Music and rhyme為例，當中有25組故事，即50本與音樂童謠相關的書。

而當中不乏經典故事，如Giraffes Can't Dance。這個故事以一個7分半鐘的繪本動畫演繹出來，不但配音專業而且還配有背景音樂，大大提升了故事的趣味性。

看完繪本故事，還有有聲書可以邊看邊聽，當中某些較深的英文字還有解釋，非常方便。

每一組故事還付有詳細的Teaching Plan供教師/家長使用。以Giraffes Can't Dance 為例，Teaching Plan有三頁多，當中包含了此書適合的學生程度、學習目標、Lexile Level、以及看動畫前後的準備活動及練習，還有如何與Nonfiction故事做一個連結。

小朋友看完聽完故事，還可以玩Puzzlers!來測試自己對故事的理解程度。

正如之前提到 BookFlix 是以 Watch --> Read --> Explore 三個步驟來激發學生閱讀的興趣。所以在Explore the Web 都可以找到非常有趣及有用的資料，例如小朋友學HipHop的網上教學以及關於跳舞的用字等等。
